Christine Plater and Robert Eppes of the Governor's Office of Business Advocacy (GOBA) and Small Business Assistance will discuss opportunities, technical assistance and resources for technology industry companies that are interested in doing business with the State of Maryland. IT contracts represent more than $360 million in State procurement. New initiatives, including the State's Small Business Reserve Program and enhanced opportunities for financing, bidding over e-Maryland Marketplace, and mentoring through the Minority Business Enterprise Program, will be highlighted.
