- Health & Safety
- Sports & Recreation
- Environment
- Arts & Entertainment
Projects are judged in March and April with 96 winning teams each year. A national event is held in Washington D.C. in June to recognize winning teams. Monday, June 23rd is the national showcase this year. Anyone can attend.
Program registration starts August 1, 2008 and teams have until February to submit projects.
Security clearances are required for some volunteer roles. David Buie has participated as a volunteer judge and would like to see Carroll County Public Schools get involved in the program.
