Montgomery County, Maryland has its I-270 Tech Corridor, with dozens of hi-tech companies along the I-270 highway. Many other areas of the country also have concentrated hotbeds of tech firms, often close to where technical talent pools lie. Eldersburg has its own technology corridor that is located behind the Carrolltown Mall. The corridor has different businesses that provide technology-related services in a variety of ways to help its clientele.
